Incorruptible

from Al Muller, Director

INCORRUPTIBLE--A Dark Comedy About the Dark Ages. This outrageous 1996 farce by Michael Hollinger is a hilarious examination of Medieval corruption AND redemption which, coincidentally, resonates with today's headlines about financial scheming and depression, the plight of the poor, flooding, and homelessness, prescribed morality and more. Oh, yes--and then there are the little matters of greed, guilt, ideological compromise, religious relics and miracles!

Actors' Theatre audiences are guaranteed to have a rousing good time when they purchase their tickets for the upcoming production!

Add to the fun of it all, a cast of wacky characters--like monks, minstrels, a conniving peasant woman, and an irate mother abbess, not to minimize the clever wit, the wide-eyed earnestness of the characters, or their worldly vulnerability, or the fragility of religious faith. --played by a group of dynamite seasoned local actors including Andrew Stewart, Jaye Wolfe, Richard Gaughan, Gavin McVey, Helene Jara, Steven Capasso, Geraldine Byrne, and MarNae Taylor.

Production Stage Manager Glenda Dixon has assembled a stellar design team of Dohn Grube (Scenery/Properties), Jamie Amos (Audio/Sound), Ronn Reinberg (Lighting), and Al Muller (Costumes).

Early reservations are a must, lest you will be lost in the stampede for tickets once the show opens! INCORRUPTIBLE is Actors Theatre's very own Spring 2009 AUDIENCE STIMULUS PACKAGE that promises to keep you laughing for the duration of the recession and beyond.

I am grateful Actors' Theatre has given me the opportunity to direct such a talented cast in a delightful piece of theatre- Al Muller, Director
